KANNAWIDAN

Kannawidan is a festivity of the Ilocos region. It’s one of the brightest and well, largest festivities that us, Ilocanos celebrate every years.

       Within this festivity, we portray a culture in which is cared throughout the centuries. A culture in which we believed in.

This festival happens every 29^th of January every year. And it’s the happiest festival that we celebrate. 

CHANGE STARTS WITH ME

In our teenage years, we always do crazy stuffs, lazy thing that bothers our parents. But as some people say, everything changes.

       As we grow older, us teenagers realize the facts that we have to leave these things behind and start over, but with mature minds that is, well, more precise with everyone. We have to change for the better or worst of ourselves.

       So now what? Change starts within us not from others. No matter what kind of changes we want, it starts from us. Besides, if we change now, the future events won’t bothers us no more. 

“Adios 2^nd Grading”

It is merely over for another grading period. Another grading period waits. Well in this period I’ve learned how to use the HMTL tags, which is not as difficult as some might say.

So far, 2^nd grading period is the hardest period I’ve yet encountered. And it is also the most painful period yet, because when we’re doing activities, I’m always moving my neck back and forth to read whatever is written in the board that contains the data’s needed in out activity. Well at this period, we actually practise a lot that’s why most of us have little knowledge about it. But for me, I kind of self-study on my own though.  

The following grading periods, I hope I would learn a lot more. And I also hope that my grades would grow as well as my knowledge would be. 

“Part of the Key”

Teachers are heroes, life saviors, and future builders. A teacher is what you wish to have, for they are a part of one’s successful life.

Teachers teach for us to gain knowledge that we’ll use in the mere future. Without any teachers, no professionals would have achieved their success either Doctor, Nurse, Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, Presidents, or any Government Officials including Teachers would have made it that far without anyone teaching them all about their proficiencies. Without our teachers, our second parents, just think of the possibilities what our future would be with them teaching us. They are a part of the key that holds our success.

I salute thy teachers, and I am so thankful. Happy Teachers Day! 

"THINK FIRST, BEFORE YOU ACT"

Due to the high level of knowledge that people have at this times. Many things were invented that is good in the eyes of men, but not in the eyes of Mother Earth. Likewise, people invent stuffs that are needed in our daily life, build buildings that are used in working in order for us to raise money and live life. But are we thinking of the positive effects of these stuffs? Yes? No? Maybe?

We are living in a modernized world, factories are built, woods in the forests are cut down in order to build buildings, huge ones that need a lot of space. the effects of these thing are not good for earth. Pollution is there, micro-organisms are just floating around waiting for the right time to strike for their victim. and because of these things, different kinds of calamities are happening. Mother nature's just  returning what we've done. So now what? How can we solve this problem?

Well, just simply identify the problem, unravel the causes. Then prepare think of a solution, think first, before you take the action. For things that didn't undergo the process of thinking, come an effect that is worse than expected.

"Heroes, marvels, avengers"

Heroes are made not born, heroes protect not protected, heroes are good not bad. But bad guys can become a hero. Heroes don't need no extraordinary powers like superman, spiderman, hulk or thor. You can be a hero by just being you.

We can be heroes if we want to, by just helping others makes us a hero, not giving so much effort, but just trying to help. Soldiers are examples of heroes. They risk their life's to fight for the country. well being called a hero is everyone's dream, everyone's desire and everyone's wish.  For me, my true heroes are my parents. they're always there when I needed them. In times of trouble, they help me out. Those are heroes with those little things come a lifetime of hardship. From the day i was born, they toke care of me, until now, and always.

With the tasks you've done, I can only say thank you. May the mercy and power of God be shared upon you. Godspeed. =>

Wika Natin Ang Daang Matuwid

August is the month where we celebrate Buwan ng Wika. A celebration where we remember the importance of our beloved language and to show love to our country. This year, the theme of the said celebration is "Wika Natin Ang Daang Matuwid".

Sa pagdariwang sa buwan na ito. Ang lahat ng estudyante ay inanyayahan na makilahok sa mga patimpalak na nauukol sa ating wika. Lahat sila'y nagpakita ng iba't ibang talento na nagpahanga sa mga guro. Sa panahon kasing ating ginagalawan, ang ating kultura't wika ay unti-unti nang nalilimutan buhat ng modernong panahon. ang paggamit din ng sarili nating wika ay isa rin sa mga palatandaan na mahal natin ang ating bayan at ito'y nagsisilbi ding susi para sa kaunlaran.

Language is a gift given by God, love it, value it, use it. :-D
